Passion

I am a person just like you are I long for your touch, friendship and love I want acceptance Just like anyone else, not special or put above I want to soar like a bird, let my wings fly free Wander like a fish in an endless sea As they take my hand and walk with me They walk alongside me so everyone will see This is my passion this is my life No matter the challenge, I’ll face that fight You provide the strength, you’ll be my guide Embrace the protection that you provide You set the example for everyone to see And see the person that I am meant to be I’m a lucky person, can’t you see I’m accepted for being the one and only me I’ll continue to walk my way day and night Smiling and giggling innocently my whole life As they take my hand and walk with me They walk alongside me Leading fearlessly This is my passion this is my life No matter the challenge, I’ll face that fight You provide the strength, you’ll be my guide Embrace the protection that you provide You set the example for everyone to see And see the person that I am meant to be An integral part of the family I have, like the man that I call dad He kept me in his life and I couldn’t be more thankful for that This is my passion this is my life No matter the challenge, I’ll face that fight You provide the strength, you’ll be my guide Embrace the protection that you provide You set the example for everyone to see And see the person that I am meant to be This is my passion This is my life
